I think Vit C helps the absorption of iron. As I say, I’m not a dietitian or clinician so make sure you check with your GP or team. If that is the case, then it would make sense that any food/drink high in vis C would have the same effect so you could choose one that isn’t high in sugar (natural or otherwise.)

Could you let us know what your GP says, as it will be really interesting and useful to know.
