Well its been a while since i posted here, as my phone broke AGAIN! and i didnt actually no i could get on here unless i had the app haha im so thick sometimes its unreal…well i discovered last night i can get on!

Anyway i had my op on 19th feb, i had a few small problems and had a longer hospital stay but since iv been home iv just improved a little bit more everyday, mum said u look so healthy and not like your recovering from an op, full of colour in my cheeks etc.

The tiredness was a killer though, even sometimes now !

I have stuck to all the food stages and now on to ‘normal foods’, and been extra careful, iv not dumped, have been sick 3 times once with chicken, once with shepherds pie and both them times im thinking i ate to fast ! ๐Ÿ™ silly me lol its hard to actually eat so slow! and once the other night when i tried a wrap for the first time ! gutted! lol but will try one again soon and see what happens.

Everyday is a challenge but i dont think im doing so bad!
I am still a big girl but im being more active than i even thought was possible , doing 6 mile walks lol! ๐Ÿ˜€

Iv had a few family issues, what with my dad being so poorly, he was back in hospital but we have found a park that you can hire a scooter at so now we go there quite often just me mum n dad, its nice as i can notice mine and dads relationship improving! Yaay ๐Ÿ™‚ he dont say it to me, but i know he is proud!

I dont weigh often at all , i dont own scales, and just go to the GP or something if i wanna get on the scales, at my last weigh in i was down 2 stone 7 since my op so in about 8 n half weeks! and in total since last october, with 2 milk diets and gallbladder problems i have lost 5 stone 1 all together!!! Iv been taking some comparison pics , not sure how i can get them on here?!?

I am changing everyday, especially in the mind…i know i have a long way to go yet but im sooo glad i had this op so far!
THANKYOU MR SLATER FOR GIVING ME MY LIFE BACK ๐Ÿ˜€

anyway enough rambling from me, just thought id give an update lol

love to you all
p.s good luck to any newbies about to start their journey!

Thank you SO much for sharing this with us all Lisa.

It’s great to hear that things are going so well for you – not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. That’s one of the things that gets quite overlooked regarding wls. It gives us so much more confidence in ourselves doesn’t it? We expect more out of life the stronger we become. It’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy in that we feel we deserve more from life so we make it happen. Gone are the days of sitting and watching life from the sidelines.

Over 5 stone lost. That’s the same weight as my big chunky Chocolate Labrador! I defy you to lift him up! Well done indeed. It’s great to have you back.

Follow this link to see how to put up photos – I would LOVE to see your before and afters. They are so inspirational to newbies too. ๐Ÿ˜‰
