Oh darling
it’s so hard
this is what i TRY to get across in my posts and i know that some forum members may think i a a bit negative at times

but i ALWAYS TRY TO POST HONESTLY
and truth is some people can eat andsd in bigger amounts and sweets and fats ect and never suffer dumping!!!
AND THASTS WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO OLD FASHIONED WILL POWER
which ironicallly if we had that to begin with -then we wouldnt have needed the surgery
you may not like what i am about to say-but with the greatest of respect you NEED tpo hear it
SIMPLY PUT-
YOU NOW HAVE 2 CHOICES
1/STOP eating sweets use your gastric bypass ”tool” and lose weight and get healthy
or
2/KEEP EATING SWEETS a bit more and a bit more
and bite by bite you will gain weight get FAT AGAIN and right back to square one
ONLY YOU CAN CONTROL what YOU PUT into YOUR mouth
anyone pre op who thinks this op is a miricle cure is craxy
its control and self restricition for the rest of your life
THE key phrase being you will have a life!!
best of luck x

Help! I have totally let myself down and dont know what to do…I am ashamed of myself but can eat crisps and chocolate!!! I have no idea why 🙁 I only have 1 packet a day but even so WHY? I have no dumping symptoms or anything 🙁 I ate a creme egg just to satisfy my craving for chocolate and I wanted it to make me really ill 🙁 but it did nothing!
I have now put on weight and am only 8 weeks post surgery! How can I stop this? I can also eat alot of food…far too much 🙁
I will ring St Richards but am ashamed of this gift I have been given and have abused it….
