Menieres is easily controlled. My Dad and I have it. I take betahistine dihydrochoride – Serc 8 as it’s also known – and it keeps things manageable. I wouldn’t be able to drive without it. I still get the tinnitus but I can cope with that. I hope you don’t have anyhting worse than that.

Drive! I can barely walk unaided :O) I am on Betahistine, I was on 8mg 3 x times a day but now Consultant has doubled it. My sight has been affected and my hearing is awful, can barely hear in my right ear but hey ho. I have had tinnitus for years, yes, it has got worse recently but I am used to it now.
