Me too. A particular friend and I are looking for ways to curb our clothes buying addiction.

I have come up with the following:

Write down the item number of whatever it is you want and list them in a little book (One of my nicknames is Mrs List.) If at the end of the month you still want it, then buy it.

Listing gives you time to consider whether or not it is just a ‘quick fix’ purchase or something you really like/need. So far, it has saved me quite a bit of money. However, my friend got it a bit wrong – she listed all the things she had already bought haha!

I will tell you how it is going at the end of the month!
