Hi Cazza

First off, don’t panic… bandsters that get good restriction from their first fill are very few and far between. It can take a few fills before you get to a decent level of restriction.

Now, are you really hungry when you think you are or do you think it could be head hunger? Try having a drink first and waiting a while to see if it was really just thirst.

What are you having for your brekkie? Complex carbs are good as they keep you fuller for longer, something like real porridge is great.

Other than that, make sure you are following all the rules, no drinking when you are eating or for an hour either side, particularly.

Don’t worry hun. It will happen for you, you just need to be patient. I know how hard it is when we see the bypassers losing weight straight off the bat, but remember, their window of opportunity is generally shorter than ours. Usually, we all get to the same place around the same time, think tortoise and hare.

Take care
Claire
