It’s very important to get enough protein as you will only be able to manage a few spoonfuls at a time, best to concentrate on that. Unsweetened yoghurt is good, maybe add a teaspoon of apple puree. A little drink of milk ( if you didn’t have enough during milk diet). I homemade soups, lentil or chicken and veg. Blended and sieved and then frozen in ramekin sized portions meant I always had something available at very short notice for a meal.

I’m also surprised you didn’t get advice at hospital but my recollection is that I stayed on liquids for 4 weeks, then smooth mashed for 4 weeks, then soft/lumpy for 4 weeks. After that you can introduce “normal” food gradually. But take it slow and ALWAYS watch for sugar and fat. Good luck
