Hi Nettie,

You are very sensible not to google anymore, and enjoy things! Mr Somers told me to do the same, go away, enjoy the time before the surgery and stop worrying!!

For me, I chose the bypass because I am a sugar addict and need the restriction this op will give me, knowing there is such a strong reaction to sweet foods. This psycological aspect mirrors what I had last time I lost weight, when my body couldn’t tolerate the wrong foods and I was ill if I ate them, which took very little time to enforce my not wanting anything that I knew would make me ill. Mine is on 18th August, after a long delay, which gave me more worrying-time!!

We will both do well, and can compare notes! Keep off google!!
