hiya pg

hang in there the procedures for the funding can be very stressful i was one of the luckiest ones as my weight loss nurse at my GP office went to my GP and talked to him about the gastric bypass before i knew anything about it as i tried everything to loose weight so my doctor has agreed with it and all paper work was filled out before i knew about it and then i was called into the office and told it is all already to go to the PCT for the funding that was in October 2008 i then got the approval for the funding in December 2008 and they was referred to st Richards in January 2009 it was then may 2009 before i met with MR Pring and my surgery was in October 2009 so it all went really quick i guess it depends upon each GP how quickly things get done but any way good luck and try not to let it get you really down
