Thanks for this post. I am now 16 days post op and discovered a couple of days ago that I can still eat food (though I am trying to chew and not eat too much ‘real food’at all). I am eating a lot less than before but am annoyed that I am not still on slush/ soup. I just can’t believe how much I miss chewing /crunching food – I thought soups and slosh would be fine but it is so boring….. Still, encouraged by Nettie and others to a ) stick with it, the band does its ‘job’ once the fills go in and b) try and eat healthy in the mean time. I put a pair of jeans on a size smaller than the ones I couldn’t get in 4 weeks ago , so it is already happening – it is just a long road I guess…… Still, I’d never look my daddy in the eye if I’d used his money for this op and not stuck to it !! 😉

Back to the slush tomorrow -encouraged by you all, thank you xx

Wow, that IS an incentive – Someone else paying for your surgery!

Well done on your success so far. Stick with it, be kind to yourself and don’t beat yourself up if you make a mistake. We are all human.
