Day 4 of post op and I feel ok, tender across my rib cage as I had a hiatus hernia aswell in which they fixed! The amount of trapped air was very painful, had a night & day in but had a nice weekend at home with the kids!, had jelly & soup over the weekend which went down well! Drinking lots of tea & juice and having yogurts as my snacks!! All good so far!

Thanks for the update John.

We will now all budge up on the loser’s bench to make a (much smaller) space for you.

The wind can be very uncomfortable so make sure you cast aside any notion of politeness and (in the words of ‘Frozen’) Let it Go, Let it Go…..

I too drank loads of tea and still do. It’s so comforting. If you can bear to switch to decaf, even better. I haven’t but one step at a time – only just given up sugar/sweetener!
