Thanks for your comments, I didn’t realise there was so much to support group meeting, I don’t know about other groups but the Chatham one is full of things going on, I was really very pleasently surprised.

Phil (hubby) found it very useful as well, althought I’m a year post op it’s surprising the number of questions that pop up when your not expecting them and it’s nice to know that others are coping with the same problems i.e. wind !!!!! in fact I wish I’d done this ages ago but we live and learn.

I didn’t go to a support group for the first 3 years!! I’m so glad I do now though. It’s a chance to discuss everything wls related without boring the other person to death…because they can’t possibly know what you mean about head hunger, windy pops, or not being able to eat and drink at the same time etc….
