Hi

Like most WLS surgery patients I also lost quite a bit, it started around 3 months but more or less stopped at around 6 months, although now at 2 years I do still get the odd bit of hair loss but now use it as a prompt to keep an eye on my protein intake as like many WLS patients I no longer eat the amount of meat I used to to do.

Like you my hair was thick and straight before surgery and the lost hair is growing back curly, apparently that is quite common.
