Thanks for your honesty doodah, I have wondered if I need to see a counsellor about this. It’s weird as I know I don’t need to lose any more (actually it wouldn’t hurt me to gain a few pounds) but I also know that if I do put weight on I will kick myself as I only want to see the scales going in one direction!
I have been trying to get a few extra calories into my diet as advised, but I still have this niggling doubt at the back of my mind that I shouldn’t be doing this as I risk screwing up and failing. This is the first time I have ever been this small and the idea of my weight creeping back up absolutely terrifies me.
I am going back to st Richards monthly at the momen because of the speed and amount of weight loss, so on my next visit (next week) I will ask for some advice re good counsellors. I have had therapy before and found it very helpful but I think it would be good to work with someone who specialises in body image etc!
I hope I don’t sound ungrateful, this amazing tool has changed my life, it’s just that I really want to continue to be a success and to do this I need to get my head straight!
Thank you 🙂
