Hi all,

At my last dietician consultaion, i was advised to take calcium citrate, previously i’d been using calcium with vit D. So I went to Boots today and whilst they have several types of calcium, none specified they were a citrate. The assistant couldn’t advise eeither. So does anyone know about this? If anyone has a pet brand/stockist I’d be glad to know. Ta

Hi Chris. I take my Vitamin D3 and calcium supplements in addition to, but separately from Sanatogen A-Z. It has served me well. However,Ii haven’t had an appointment with a dietitian in over 7 years, so I could be completely wrong! Who did you see? Would you like me to ask one of Streamline’s dietitians? I’s be interested to know myself now.

Just found this when looking into it…

Perhaps the citrate part means they can be absorbed with or without food? Will definitely ask now 😉
