Was feeling ok sat up and watched Britains got Talent. Had a really comfortable nights sleep. Even managed five teaspoons of weetabix and a cuppa- pure bliss was that brew!!. Much less painful today and have been walking and moving around fine!

I’m always amazed at how quickly we feel better after surgery. I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that even though I had an open bypass and gall bladder removal (10cm scar) I was fighting fit within two weeks. I had no pain to tell of and didn’t use my morphine shunt at all.

That first brew is like nectar from the gods isn’t it lol!? So, so pleased it all went so well for you. Mr Somers is amazing isn’t he?
