I was on 5 Pints of milk and 3 pints of water for 2 weeks. It was ok for me as I like drinking milk, and had no hunger pangs. Sugar free gum is also to be recommended. I had the Chicken Bovril with my water as it gave the saltiness and tasted like a weak soup. I lost 24 lbs on the milk diet, and since the op on 22nd Sept, I have lost another 30lbs. I hope you have a good journey. mine was done at Chichester and you couldnt be in better hands. The nursing staff are wonderful, and the theatre staff are equally amazing. Good luck with your op, and your future weight loss. Oh, and I still like milk.
