This is great advice for us. I recall posting on here about my wish list as I reached each goal. Of course, you don’t have to wait until post surgery to be proud of yourself. You can feel good about making plans, taking a little exercise, getting your hair or nails done.

After surgery, my goals came thick and fast. Wearing a ladies watch instead of a man’s one was just a month after my op I think, it felt great. Then walking more easily, increasing my distance, including some uphill in my daily walks were all massive progress for me. All that lead to where I am today, which is a person who chooses to run up 3 flights of stairs, taking them 2 at a time. Unbelievable!

I love my new life, there are not enough superlatives to describe it!
