I was at the hospital today for a CT Scan, and I got so excited (not about the scan!) because for the first time in about 15 years the bulk standard hospital gown fitted me!!! (and I mean it went right around me, tied up and the sleeves did not cut off the blood supply to my arms!).

Sounds silly, but I have had so many times where I have not been able to get them on or where all me bits and pieces have been on display, I felt it was quite an achievement!!

Strange thing was, when the nurse gave me the gown, I immediately frowned and expected it not to fit. I asked if she had any larger sizes. She looked quizzically at me and said ‘oh, I think this one will be ok’. Seems I am the last person to realise that I have lost weight!!

(Of course, this excludes the wonderful gowns in the Chichester Suite which fitted me perfectly!)
