UPDATE, still not getting anywhere !

Been to see GP and told him what the hospital said
and I asked him to refer me, he said they will want to see that
you have lost some weight FIRST.

so he wont refer me until I have lost some, did not say how much or over what period
my weight DOES go down but not long before it back again +a bit more !!

My BP on Monday night (checked with my wrist monitor) was 198 over 99 !
at GP’s today was 168 over 92, bit better but not good
certainly uncontrolled and meet the criteria for referal

I know a different Dr at the centre does have more experience with WLS so I might try and
see if I can see them and see what they have to say

Only thing putting me off is that when I go and see my normal GP he will see that I have seen another doctor
and might not like it, so that worry me a bit as he has been my GP for over 30 years
but guess I should not think like that as my health is more important, my trouble is I always think
about other people first !

even after I do get to the hospital it maybe 2 years or more before they may even do the op

might be best and go private
