I have not posted on the forum for ages. Partly because I have been away but partly because the new format of the forum is not as easy to navigate as the old one. Is that just me? Not complaining, I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.

Yes it was certainly refreshing at Streamline. I had my consultation at The Sudbury Clinic in Harrow and it is a relatively new facility designed with the size of their patients in mind. It is spacious and the doors are wide. All the chairs are those extra wide ones, it is all on the ground floor and the loo is accessible for those who have mobility problems. There is no assumption that any patient will need any or all of those facilities but they are all there for anyone who does.

During my conversations with all of the team, I was treated with non judgmental honesty. By that I man that they did not shirk discussing the seriousness of my problems and the risks of the surgery. And after the surgery, it was clear that they celebrated my successes as much as I did. it was refreshing
