It’s fab that you have started a food diary as this helps to keep you on track with your hydration too. Although I am not a clinician, I think it is safe to say that hydration is THE most important thing to keep on top of. We all know that we can go for days and days without food but the need fluids can be measured in hours.

I do hope your GP will be be supportive now. If she/he isn’t then your weight loss and all the accompanying health benefits will! I have known many a GP or health care professional who has eaten a big dollop of humble pie for being so sceptical after seeing the results of the health and emotional well-being benefits of weight loss surgery. Prove your GP ‘wrong’ too 😉
