Hi Floyd

Although load gurgling can and often is quite normal with WLS patients pain should not be and by Indigestion do you mean heartburn or something else.

I might pay you to contact your team for advice before you see your GP as with the best will in the world most of them know very little about WLS and any problems that might arise as time goes on.

Two common problems to think of are Ulcers and Gallstones both will give you pain when eating.

One never talked about problem is that with post opp bypass patients there is now no easy access to the stomach which is still there, but if its developing any problems they can’t just pop a camera down to have a look, so hope its nothing developing in there.

Still don’t panic until you need to and await more professional advice from your GP and hopefully your team.

You may well find that going onto PPI medication will sort you out.

Paul
