I think subconsciously I have always used my size to shut out other people.  Whilst big I have not had to form close relationships with people.  How will I deal with this as I start to lose weight?

Question 12:

If you have used your body size to protect yourself from other people, then as you start to lose weight you will inevitably feel vulnerable and may experience anxiety. You may also subconsciously start to sabotage your procedure by eating the wrong foods in order to control your weight loss. If this happens, it is important that you seek some counselling through your GP surgery.
