have always been known as the 'fat and happy' one, how
will I feel when this starts to change?
This is a very interesting question as weight loss surgery will inevitably change your role within your family, your friends and your community. Some people really struggle with this and start to feel displaced and no longer relevant. If this does happen then you will need to revaluate your life and relationships as well as building a new role for yourself.
