Question 20:

I burp a lot after eating - is this normal?

If you find that after having your surgery, the gastric bypass or the gastric band, that you are burping quite a lot, it is quite likely that you are eating too quickly. Take time over eating, slow is the best way, chew your food really well and always take time for your meals. Also do not eat and drink at the same time, drink up to 30 minutes before your meal and then leave at least 60 minutes after eating before you take your next drink.
