Revision Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery
Unfortunately, not all bariatric surgeries are successful and some require revision. This may be due to unsatisfactory weight loss or associated complications. Revision, or ‘re-do’, surgeries carry more risk than initial weight loss procedures and are more complex.
The extensive experience of our bariatric surgeons has enabled us to specialise in revision surgery for patients with failed or malfunctioning bariatric surgical procedures. A patient needing revision surgery will require individual assessment and discussion with a surgeon to ascertain which revision would be most suitable.
